HOW TO BOOK A GROUP CRUISE:

My first piece of advice - call us and let us do all of the work! Why stress over the little things! That's what we're here for!

Setting up a group is relatively easy.  To qualify for a "group" booking you will need to be able to fill at least 8 cabins.  Be prepared to have 2 different dates and/or ships to choose from for your group cruise. Not all dates and ships have group space available. We will call the cruise line and determine which itinerary has group space available.  It is best to have at least the 8 cabins guaranteed to sell prior to setting up your group. 

Once you have decided on a ship, an itinerary and sail date, we can verify cabin availability and price.  Let us know how many cabins you think you will need and the types of cabins you want to reserve (Inside, Ocean View, Balcony).  Be sure to let us know if there is a need for any handicapped cabins or special needs for anyone in your group.  The accessible cabins are not always available.  Let us also know if you want air fare or insurance included.  Not everyone in the group will be required to purchase the air or the insurance.  Each passenger can decide this on their own. 

Depending on which cruise line you choose, there are various time frames to have your deposits in for your group.  We will get quotes for the various cabin price rates and the date when the deposits all are due. Until the group is actually set up with the cruise line, prices will not be guaranteed.  Usually there are special pricing for groups as well as some additional "perks".

After the group is set up, you will be given a date when the deposits are due.  Full deposits, passenger full names and birth dates will need to be in by that date.  Have each of your passengers call us to reserve their rooms.  If you need more cabins than initially thought, let us know as soon as possible so we can secure more cabins for your group.   

You will also be given a final payment date.  All passengers will need to have their full payments in by that date. We will also need to know everyone's complete mailing address and contact phone numbers by this date.  The cancellation policy may be different for groups, so be sure to ask us about those policies.

When all of the deposits are in and cabins have been reserved, we will be able to ask the cruise line about any special perks that may be available for your group.  These could include upgrades, merchandise or culinary items.  Each cruise and cruise line offers different items (if any at all). 

Tell us if you will need any meeting places on the ship throughout the cruise.  We can arrange space on the ship for meetings, cocktail parties or conferences.  If there are any other items you need for this group, be sure to let us know.  We will be able to discuss your needs with the cruise line and verify what is available for your group.
